Prov. 29:18 Where there is no vision, the
people perish: but he that keepeth the law,
happy is he. No vision, open vision 1 Samuel
3:1 states. The word of the Lord was
precious as the Lord did not speak to them
often or frequently in the day of Eli
because of sin.
Till Samuel came on the scene God had not
spoken much to the people because of the
Priest's slack of concern for the law and
word of God. They had made God non effect by
their lifestyle. The people were exposed to
the dangers of sin because the work of God
was withheld from them.
Today, just as in those days, the people are
idle and play. They do nothing to gain
knowledge of God and His ways because of the
lack of instruction on what to do or how to
do it. People are rebellious against God
because the preachers have failed to give
vision into the word that would instruct
them on how they can be good examples of
Christ so they know no better than they are
directed.
So many church goers today are like sheep
having no shepherd and are left to perish
for the lack of knowledge because so many
ministers, in the name of political
correctness or not wanting to offend, will
not expound on the word of God.
I am glad that at Solid Rock there is a
congregation that is hungry for the word of
God and desire to know what is the breadth
and length, and depth, and height that is in
God. A vision has been opened unto us thru
God and my desire is to take you there that
we might together hear what the Lord is
saying unto the end time church.
He desires a people that will live according
to His word that he may make the vision
plain to all that are willing to hear. I do
not want it said of the church I attend,
that there is no open vision but I want it
spread abroad that the Lord is talking to us
frequently and we are heeding His word. A
church that God speaks to is a blessed
church because it does not stumble around
not knowing the will of God but walks in the
light of the gospel as God reveals it unto
them.
I am excited about 2009 because I believe
that the Lord is going to make Himself
greatly known in our midst as we desire to
draw closer to Him by the word. The vision
is all around us - all we need to do is to
open ourselves up to it and reap the
benefits of knowing without doubt that God
is bringing His vision to pass in our lives.
Please keep me in your prayers that I will
be able to minister the vision that God has
given to Solid Rock so those that hear may
understand and grasp it. Great wonders in
God lie before us - let us boldly embrace
Him and His word that we may experience
them.
Your Shepherd,
Pastor Anthony Krummrey
